Welcome to the Intersectional Engagement Committee at IGLTA, where diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences come together to strengthen and shape the future of LGBTQ+ tourism. Our committee is committed to fostering meaningful connection, inclusive representation, and equitable engagement across communities worldwide. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we aim to create spaces where every voice is valued, every story is respected, and every traveler and industry professional feels a true sense of belonging.
Starting in 2014, the IGLTA Women’s Leadership Reception was created to celebrate, connect, and empower women leaders and allies within the LGBTQ+ tourism industry. What began as a dedicated space for networking and visibility has evolved into a broader commitment to fostering intersectional engagement, inclusive leadership, and meaningful community connection across diverse identities and experiences.
