You loved our guide to the world’s best nude beaches.
But let's face it--not everyone is comfortable going au naturel all the time.
Here are 11 recommendations where you can get fashionable in a speedo, board shorts, classic swimwear or whatever your heart desires--plus a few where you can take them off.
Playa Delfines
Delfines is a popular place with travelers and is extremely gay friendly. The white sands along Cancun's coast shimmer against the water's many shades of blue. And the view is incredible.
Obelisk Beach
Strip down and nuzzle up to a local while indulging in the stunning views of Camp Cove and Parsley. Don't miss Vaucluse and Watsons Bays off on the horizon at Sydney's Obelisk Beach.
Praia Mole
Praia Mole in Florianópolis, the capital of southern Brazil’s Santa Catarina state, is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and also one of the most convenient.
Cupecoy
Cupecoy Beach is relatively small, but this mighty clothing optional beach is a cluster of three beaches (the central beach being the gayest) situated on the Dutch side of Saint Martin.
Hilton Beach
One of the gay capitals of the Mediterranean, Tel Aviv's Hilton Beach offers golden sand, blue waters, and some of the most gorgeous men in the world.
Manuel Antonio Public Beach
Considered one of the gayest destinations in Central America, Manuel Antonio Beach has an enormous public beach “La Playita,“ which is known as one of Costa Rica’s only nude beaches
Clifton 3rd
Known as Cape Town’s St. Tropez, Clifton is one of Cape Town’s biggest gay draws. There are four beaches that make up Clifton Beach and Clifton 3rd is definitely the most “family friendly.”
Playa Los Muertos
Situated just south of Puerto Vallarta's Malecon area and the Cuale River in the Romantic Zone (or “Old Vallarta”), Playa Los Muertos is a short venture from the epicenter of PV.
Higg's Beach
Key West has only a few beaches and Higgs is the busiest, a great spot known for snorkeling, volleyball, and jet skiing. There's a grassy area, too, for dogs to live it up off-leash.
Eagle Beach
Aruba aka “One Happy Island” is known for its powdery white sand beaches, friendly people, and gorgeous resorts. Eagle Beach is situated off the main road with breathtaking Caribbean views.
Cas Abou
North of Venezuela, Curaçao's Cas Abou has picturesque palm trees waving in the breeze, a white sandy coast, and shimmering waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
