SEVILLE, Spain (30 March 2026) — The International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) is now accepting session proposals for its 2026 Global Convention, taking place 17-21 November in Seville, Spain.
Centered on the themes of Identity, Culture, and Community, IGLTA is looking for a diverse range of voices with innovative insights and strategies for shaping LGBTQ+ travel globally. This is an invitation for professionals across the IGLTA network to contribute to two days of breakout sessions, workshops, and main stage presentations.
Key areas of interest include:
- AI in Travel: Practical ways to use new technology in our daily work
- Equity & Intersectionality: Highlighting BIPOC and gender-diverse travelers, and voices from emerging destinations
- Inclusive Marketing: Creative strategies that resonate with the greater travel market
“The IGLTA Global Convention is built on the belief that our industry is at its strongest when we share ideas and learn from one another,” said Meg Ten Eyck (she/her), IGLTA Board Chair and CEO of EveryQueer. “We want to hear from the innovators and disruptors across our global network who are working every day to tackle industry challenges and create inclusive travel spaces for our community.”
The deadline for submissions is 25 May. The IGLTA Convention Committee will review all proposals and announce selected speakers in July. Link to apply is available here.
The IGLTA Global Convention brings together professionals from around the world to share experiences and best practices in LGBTQ+ tourism. IGLTA is proud to partner with the Tourism and Culture Department at Seville City Council, with support from Tourism of Andalucía and Turespaña, to bring this landmark event to Spain.
