FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (11 December 2017)—The IGLTA Foundation will elevate the profile of its signature fundraising event, transforming the annual evening reception into Voyage on 11 May 2018 during IGLTA’s Annual Global Convention in Toronto. This elegant event at the Fairmont Royal York will include a silent auction, cocktails, a networking dinner, and the IGLTA Honors, presented with the support of Visit Philadelphia, to celebrate those who have improved the global landscape of LGBTQ+ tourism.

“The Voyage reception will signify a milestone in the visibility and efforts of the Foundation to support LGBTQ+ tourism through education and research and the development of the next generation of industry leaders,” said IGLTAF Board Chair Gary Murakami, CMP, CMM. “The term ‘Voyage’ represents the journey and movement for LGBTQ+ tourism and complements the passion and mission of the Foundation.”

IGLTA convention registration is not required to attend Voyage. The event is open to everyone interested in making the world more welcoming for all who travel in it.
