Brunei’s full implementation of Sharia law sends a clear reminder that we need to unite, speak up, and never cease in our efforts to push for global equality and safety for our LGBTQ+ family, as well as all marginalized communities. What can you do to help? IGLTA recommends donations to Rainbow Railroad, an organization that helps LGBTQ+ people around the world who are living in fear due to government and police brutality to find new homes where they can live in freedom; or OutRight Action International, which fights for human rights for LGBTQ+ people everywhere.
