Bid on travel packages to support LGBTQ+ welcoming tourism globally

 

BERLIN (9 March 2021)—The IGLTA Foundation, the charitable organization of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association, has launched an online auction this week that features more than 30 travel packages contributed by IGLTA members in Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Asia. The auction will end at 11 a.m. EST/5pm CET on Friday, 12 March, and is highlighted in the LGBTQ+ program at ITB Berlin NOW.

Funds raised from the auction will support the Foundation's efforts to educate government and industry leaders on the importance of LGBTQ+ inclusive tourism, provide fellowships to young LGBTQ+ travel professionals, and support LGBTQ+ owned businesses in emerging destinations.
