Our IGLTA family is an eclectic bunch of travelers and dreamers—culturally curious, interested and engaged with the world. It’s no surprise that when we host our Annual Global Convention, our participants say networking is their priority. We love to get together to share ideas, breaking down barriers through the exchange of information. Travel connects us and our desire for a more inclusive world makes our bonds even stronger.
Now, for many of us, our world has become no larger than an apartment. A big trip means going to the grocery store. It is essential that we focus on safety now and put our communities first, so that we are all healthy enough, when the time is right, to resume promoting tourism and the industry we love.
The IGLTA headquarters office is closed, but the association is fully operational. All staff are working remotely, and are available to provide support to you, our valued members and partners, and the travel community at large.
Coronavirus has been a devastating blow, and we know that many of our members are facing particularly challenging times. We are here for you. If you want us to share something on social media, let us know. If you want to brainstorm ideas, drop us a note. If you are hosting a virtual event, we’re happy to share it. If you just want a connection, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We are family and we will get through this together.
