To support those efforts, USCHMC conducts cross-channel industry research, provides consulting services, and develops strategies to improve member’s marketing and sales efforts, strategic planning, to raise awareness of the impact of culture and heritage on a visitor’s experience, and to highlight the economic benefits of cultural and heritage visitor spend to the community.
USCHMC partners with supports and complements other tourism industry organizations engaged in promoting U.S. Cultural and Heritage experiences to the U.S. and international inbound markets. Members and paid advertisers include state, regional, and local tourism boards, attractions, and venues.
Through the annual consumer publication, The Cultural Traveler, the website theculturaltraveler.com, and the newsletter, The Cultural Connection, USCHMC strives to deliver relevant and authentic content that inspires travelers to connect with America’s diverse cultural and heritage experiences.
USCHMC focuses on identifying, prioritizing, and advocating for key issues that impact Cultural & Heritage tourism in the United States. USCHMC works with other organizations to raise awareness and address the concerns of the cultural and heritage segment within the national tourism industry.
