IGLTA Member Benefits

IGLTA members represent all facets of the travel and tourism industry. Travel related organizations become part of IGLTA so that the world of gay and lesbian travel has a unified voice. In addition to this camaraderie, there are a variety of benefits an organization receives upon becoming a member of our association. Here is a listing of those benefits. IGLTA Website Listing

Every member of IGLTA has a listing on www.iglta.org. This listing gives your organization's name, contact information, business type and a brief description. IGLTA's website attracts businesses and consumers from around the world and when somebody searches for gay and lesbian friendly travel organizations, you will be included.


IGLTA Premium Membership Listing

IGLTA Members have the ability to sign up for a "Premium Membership." For US$295/year, your listing becomes much more dynamic. On our home page, on the right side of the page, you will see the 'Member Showcase.' Premium Members are displayed in this area on a random, rotating basis. On our Member Search page, if your listing is included in a search, your listing will appear at the very top of the page before the listings of our 'General Members.' In addition, when a visitor clicks on your listing, you will have the ability to upload many photos in various 'Photo Albums' that will appear at the bottom of your listing. Networking & Education

Being a part of an association provides you with immense educational and networking opportunities. IGLTA provides many events throughout the year that will enable you to meet people in the world of gay and lesbian travel as well as the tourism industry as a whole. IGLTA Annual Convention & Symposia / FAM Trips

IGLTA organizes two travel symposia and one convention each year. Members are offered reduced rates, airfares and inexpensive event costs when attending. These are the places to do business at trade shows, educational seminars and supplier one-on-ones, regional familiarization tours, panel discussions and countless networking opportunities. Membership & Consumer E-Mail Blasts

IGLTA sends you an e-mail update once a week on Wednesdays. Members can sponsor these blasts and provide an advertisement or a story about a product or service offered. The e-mail blasts go to our entire membership database that spans the globe. The cost to do this is US$300 for an advertisement or US$500 for a picture and a story. In addition to our membership database we have a consumer database of approximately 1500 consumers that also spans the globe. To send any sort of HTML e-mail blast to this group is US$500. Travel Agent E-mail Blast

Suppliers have the ability to send an e-mail blast to our Travel Agent members for US$300. This is an HTML e-mail blast that the organization can design at their leisure, informing our travel agent members about specials, deals and other opportunities. IGLTA Website Banners

All members have the ability to buy advertising space on the right hand of the consumer pages on www.iglta.org. There are three available sizes: 160x86 for US$200; 160x160 for US$250; 160x600 for US$300. Click here for more details about specifications and pricing. If you would like to put an advertisement on our website, please contact Richard Brower at richard@iglta.org.

There is also an opportunity to place a horizontal banner sized 468x60 on our Search Page. You can specify which search term you want your banner to appear on. For instance, if you want to have your advertisement displayed to all people searching for things in Las Vegas, you can make it so your ad appears whenever people search for that city. Brochure Distribution

Membership Database & Mailing Labels

As a member of IGLTA you will get access to a PDF version of our member database. Also, we are able to supply mailing labels for you to send out collateral. We will print our membership database on mailing labels and send the labels to your organization. The fee for this is US$500.
