Welcome and thanks for inquiring about IGLTA's marketing opportunities. Here you will find all you need to work with us. Members of IGLTA have the ability to reach our growing number of traveler members and business partners around the world. We currently have over 2200 member businesses in over 80 countries around the world. Members include airlines, destinations, travel agents, tour operators, media and any other business in the tourism industry. Our members are dedicated to reaching the LGBT market and providing welcoming products for the community to enjoy. In addition to our members, IGLTA works with over 7000 consumers on a global level to educate the LGBT traveler on welcoming businesses, hot new destinations and all the offerings our members put to market.

  • Web Banners
  • IGLTA web banners come in three different sizes. Since our website is geared more towards consumers, our web banners are meant to attract the LGBT traveler. They appear on our IGLTA.org and approximately fifteen (15) other pages that are geared towards the traveler.

    Our website receives, on average, ten thousand (10,000) unique visitors a month. As IGLTA grows and increases its own marketing, this number is also rising. Each time the IGLTA page is refreshed, a new web banner is displayed.

  • Email Blasts
  • IGLTA has multiple ways in which you can reach our members and our consumers. We offer two different types of email blasts. Our first is an HTML email blast to our consumer database that then gets listed on Facebook and Twitter, reaching over seven thousand (7,000) consumers. Second, you can send an HTML email blast to our travel agent and tour operator (buyer) database.

    IGLTA receives very impressive email open and click-through rates depending on the messaging and list you are sending to. Our consumer emails receive an average 26% open rate and 4% click through rate, and our buyer emails have an average 37% open rate and a 7% click through rate. (Industry averages for open rates are 20% - 25% and click through rates are 1% - 4%.)

    Consumer Email Blast - USD $500/blast
    Buyer Email Blast - USD $300/blast

    Specifications:
    All creative material should be received at least one (1) week before publishing date for proper review. IGLTA only accepts HTML files that have all necessary coding within the <body> tag, is 600 pixels wide or less and houses all images on a set server (so all <img> tags must use the http:// part of the address).

  • Brochure Distribution
  • IGLTA staff and volunteers travel to events all over the world every week. We provide the opportunity for you to send your business' brochures to these events so we can display them whether you are able to attend or not. Some of these events are business-oriented such as ITB Berlin while others are consumer-oriented like pride festivals.

    Pricing:
    Pricing depends upon each event. Some events can be as low as USD $100. Pricing also depends on how many brochures you would like to send and how large your business is.

    Specifications:
    Any promotional brochure you would like to send is eligible, subject to IGLTA approval. We do not return left over brochures after the event.
