Aaron Paiva Leyton, founder of Peru Magic and Mystery - Tours tailored by Aaron, started this adventure in 2002 with the idea of promoting Peru through the eyes of a local Peruvian.
Aaron obtained his training at San Martin University and CENFOTUR, the College of Tourism. It was there that he developed his special talent for making Peru come alive to those who use his companies services. He also studied English at California State University in San Bernadino California. This helps him to anticipate and understand the needs of his guests. It was there that he first heard the phrase, “It’s not the destination but the journey.” He lives it every day and invites you to join him on that journey of discovery.
In addition to his tours, Aaron has produced and directed several well received documentaries including “Peru: Magic and Mystery”, “From the Heart of Peru: My Mother's Kitchen” and "The fabulous Pisco Sour". Involved in various projects promoting Peru around the world, Aaron has become an unofficial ambassador of the land he loves.
