This year’s theme in Hamburg is “Marriage 2.0 – First the duties, Now the rights” and focuses on the still insufficient rights of married lesbian and gay couples. On August 4, the spectacular Pride parade starts off in the heart of Hamburg’s LGBT district from the corner of Lange Reihe and Schmilinskystrasse then runs right through the city center.
