Join Las Vegas & More & Thanks Babs The Day Tripper, on a narrated tour that travels through fabulous Las Vegas in route to the magnificent Hoover Dam; you will be awed with the enormity of this engineering wonder of the world. In the distance you will see the spectacular shoreline of Lake Mead. Created by Hoover Dam, Lake Mead is the largest man-made body of water in the Western Hemisphere. 
The Discovery Tour offers two hours for exploring this National Historic Landmark; see live presentations, a fascinating film on the dam's construction and history, exhibit gallery, observation deck, and venture down to the observation room in the power plant to view the massive generators and leave some time to walk across the bridge from the Nevada to Arizona look out points. Other local stops can be anticipated if time allows. This tour includes some walking, comfortable shoes, sunscreen & hats are recommended. The tour will conclude at the Flamingo Hotel.

On this afternoon tour discover remarkable facts documented in the Lesbian and Gay Archives and meet unique individuals and tour sites from the past. hout a visit to the Liberace Museum. For decades, Liberace was known for his music, candelabra, charisma, rhinestones and dazzle. Liberace's legend lives on in The Liberace Museum that houses his collections of rare and antique pianos, classic cars, famous sequined, bejeweled costume wardrobe, glittering stage jewelry, rare antiques and as well as his private papers and memorabilia, together with a café and unique gift store This tour also includes the Las Vegas Strip, Fremont Street, and other fabulous gems of Old Las Vegas. There will be some walking. Snacks & beverages included on the motor coach.
Examine ancient Native American pictographs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area where the scenery is so dramatic it's often selected as the backdrop for movies and commercials. Traveling in your narrated Pink Jeep tour along the 13-mile scenic drive you'll view the impressive cliffs, brilliantly colored hills, fossilized sand dunes, geological features abound. A brief stop at the visitor center includes fascinating exhibits, a desert tortoise habitat, and gift shop. Take the time for a short walkabout at Calico Hills. There will be ample photo opportunities at the highest point in this national park. A bonus to this tour is the off-road adventure up Rocky Gap road. Beautiful desert wildflowers, ancient Native American pictographs, and diverse vegetation make this tour one you'll never forget. This tour includes some walking, comfortable shoes, sunscreen & hats are recommended.
Enjoy and share in the history, desert wildlife and beauty of the Black Canyon of the Colorado River with Black Canyon Willow Beach River Adventures unique day trip aboard a motor-assisted raft. Board a large comfortable 30-passenger raft as your tour launches from the base of the Hoover Dam. This extremely rare view of the Hoover Dam is a wondrous sight. During this excursion, experienced and knowledgeable guides will describe the history of this magnificent geological area. The high canyon walls will leave you breathless. Be prepared to see Desert Big Horn Sheep, Osprey, and Great Blue Herons in their natural setting. Bring your camera and plenty of film to create your own memories of the wonders of nature. The rafts will stop along the shore to give you a chance to swim or play in the cool clear waters below Hoover Dam and to enjoy the box lunch provided. Bring a hat, sunglasses, bathing suit, towel and water shoes, sandals or shoes you don’t mind getting a bit wet. Your trip will end on the Arizona side of the river at Willow Beach for the return trip over the crest of the Hoover Dam to the Flamingo Hotel.
The perfect kayak trip for all skill levels, this relaxing journey is a must! Kayak to the Boulder Islands and explore the shoreline in search of sunken vessels. Clear waters of Lake Mead make it easy to spot fish below the surface. Take a leisurely hike, look for seashells on the beaches and swim in the largest man-made lake in the United States. Box lunch provided. Bring a hat, sunglasses, bathing suit, towel and water shoes or sandals. Don't forget the camera and film.
